We have an addition to our team - she's an analyst to analyze whatever she's supposed to analyze. Hopefully they'd have the decency to train her, unlike in my case where I spent my first few days going through the files of the previous person to figure out what the frig is going on here.
She looks pretty busy though, yes, on her first day, very busy when the boss is not even in town. Tsk, don't make fun okay.
Anyways I heard she has an attitude problem - ya know the type who think they are all that and way too smart and above the rest. I heard only la, who knows. Perhaps she could turn out to be very nice or very nasty.
The $7K-earner gal has made very good friends with her, laughing away (they sit opp each other) since the time the new girl came in in the morning. They even went out to lunch together (I made up something, she loves to eat expensive food. Hell so would I if I earned Seven gazoons). Well, I supposed the new girl hit home since they come from the same country.
I wonder how much this one makes, considering how desperate the bause was to get her in makes me assume she was on a good bargaining end.
He's weird. When I first came in, he was all over me.
NO not in that sense, like totally fussing over me, totally taking care of me, I was like wow got such a boss ah? And now before she came in, he was already fussing over her. Instructing me to include her in every team dinner (remember a few posts ago I complained abt eating with stupid visitors who come) and everything if there was one BEFORE she even signed the frigging contract..
Mad ah? What if she didn't sign? So malu right? I think she's already minding it. Last time someone came down (and he's the global CEO mind you) she made up an excuse saying she was sick and on long MC but I saw her at the lift lobby at office, coming back from lunch.
Didn't bother telling my boss anything. His problem. I'm sure his fussing will die after one or two months.
Hoi, end of yr, increase my pay leh?
Though I've been in this dept 6 mths, I've put up with annoying people who love to make others wait. Isn't that worth, say $500 more?
Back to the new kid on the block. She's been nice (as in first day at work niceness) so far till earlier I thought she was abit odd.
We are supposed to have a gift-exchange in the office on 7th Dec so everyone has to buy something worth $15 and above. we were all discussing what to buy when she said she already bought it (and gave it to me to submit like last week - fast to impress? ) then one guy said "Oh you did? You should have bought the same thing on behalf of the rest of us!" then he carried on laughing.
Our friend just stared at him and went "Uh. OhhhhhhKayyyyy."
What do you think about this one? Rude generally? Or rude for a newbie?
He just laughed it off.
Oh and one more, another guy said buy huge bags of potato chips since its cheap and people like going for the biggest presents. She added "Oh not many women will touch potato chips."
The fella retorted, "Yeah? You'd be surprised."
Strike one fella! Zero newbie!
Oh well. Let's see how it goes. I can't be bothered if she's anti potato chips (she's stick thin) or whatever as long as she doesn't get on my nerves is fine.
I shall end this post by saying:
Nokia N80 sucks. My phone is blank. All I see is a white light and it's so irritating. First the headset died and I had to use loudspeaker to here people now I can't see shit.
This is the 3rd damn time there's something wrong with it. Later I'm going to Century Square branch to fix it.
Great. Last time I fixed the LCD it took 3 weeks. I wonder how long it will take now.
And they better not frig with me. They gave me this current LCD.
They frig, they die.
