I don't have anything against the aged/aging population but I do HATE old people in the mornings. We as Singaporeans know that the stupid freaking train is so damn packed in the mornings with students and especially adults going to work.
So, may I ask WHY DO YOU, OLD PERSON, CHOOSE TO TAKE THE DAMN TRAIN IN THE DAMN MORNING WHEN IT IS SO DAMN PACKED?
I'm pretty sure you don't have an office to go to, judging by the way you are dressed or the fact that your maid or husband or grandchild is trailing you, but WHY for the love of God must you take the train when it is so crowded? Couldn't you damn well take a cab in the event you needed to go someplace so important (e.g. clinic, hospital) that you simply must take the train with us??
I think the money is worth it, don't you?
Now wait people, don't jump the gun. Let me tell you exactly why I hate them in the mornings.
Firstly, people are packed like sardines in a can till their faces are inches away from the doors. These "old, feeble, innocent, harmless"people simply LURVE to push their way in even though there is no space left causing people at the centre or back of the train to step on each other, molest each other, inconvenience and discomfort each other because of them. If you watch carefully tomorrow morning, you'd see alot of old people doing just that.
This morning there was an old couple who pushed their way through, annoying the people in the front. I was one of them. The old lady kept pushing peoples' hand so she could stay close to the poles while she moved till an ang moh lady gave up her seat for her. Her husband tried to squeeze between our hands which were holding the poles. I refused to budge and he tapped me and said he wanted to walk through. I just looked at him and he told me again and I just looked at him again and he got the drift and went around me. I wasn't being mean but I was trying to state a point - just because you are old doesn't mean you can get away with everything.
Why did they have to squeeze in when it was already so packed. Oh, so now I am supposed to make way for you? Go to hell.
There is also another old lady who takes the bus from the same bus-stop I do. She is big sized and whenever she boards the train she squeezes her hand together, as if to resemble a ball and boy does she resemble a huge ball of ugly, and she throws. YES THROWS herself in and just walks past everyone like a American footballer knocks over his opponents.
How to feel sorry for shit people like this? I hardly give up my seat. Really, unless the person is really old and weak. I mean you can just see and judge for yourself. I mean, if an old woman has the energy to dye her hair gold and red and whatever else, I suppose she deserves a seat because her i/c states she's above 60? Or she dresses like she's 16 - yes, we have all seen oldies like that.
I only give my seat up to pregnant women. At least they aren't annoying.
Old people should really stop exploiting themselves. It's terrible.
On another note, I am unable to access my own blog at work. They blocked it out. Just like they blocked Friendster, then YouTube. They must have realized alot of people read blogs in their free time. But I'm still able to blog. Funny isn't it.
Can't read blog but can write blog. Well, at least it wasn't categorized under tasteless.
Oh I wonder how long before they block blogger. Sounds like a riddle.
Now if you'd excuse me, I need to go print some shit.
