Why wasn't Hari Raya on Sunday?

If Hari Raya was on Sunday, we could have gotten today off and I would have woken up late and Vani is also at home today and we could have lazed around and had alot of fun.
But then again, I have an exam in (let me count) 12 days time. Yikes!!

I told myself I wouldn't procrastinate but I did. Is that the right way to spell it? (refers to dictionary.com.Yes it's correct. I am a guru at spelling. They should have somesort of spelling bee competition. I'll win, I tell ya) I haven't studied yet but I'm going to start today (trying to redeem myself here).


So I have to startstudying. No going out till next Sat - my exam. Workplace Law. ggggrrrreat.

I did get a High Distn for my bridging module and I feel like I need to get it again but with all this wasting of time, I really don't know. I've already scanned my notes here so if I have nothing to do I can read them but I feel its better to physically write it down, helps one remember things better.

A new girl is joining us end of yr and I've heard some bad things abt her having an attitude problem so I thought I'd be nice and casually and gently bring it up to my bause and he wasn't the least disturbed abt it so I left it alone. This was on Fri yeah, and before I went back he told me tht someone told him that I was difficult but he doesn't experience anything and he's pleased with me and he told that "person" exactly that. Now, I'm no rocket scientist but only a few ppl knew I transferred dept so I'd place my last dollar on my ex-boss whom the whole co hates so gee wee, tough luck huh. My bause must be an idiot to believe something coming from a person like that.

She's a kookie I tell you and not in a good way.

Albert Einstein would lose out in a 'whose-hair-stands-taller' competition, she's an aging spinster who bullies an older woman to buy food for her everyday and when she enters a room, everyone shrinks back like she's the next outbreak of smallpox. But no, one cannot take their eyes of the hair-do. Gatsby, anyone? But she's a powerful woman but I wouldn't want to lead such a sad life with such a notorious reputation.

So coming back to that girl - if her reputation preceeds her, she better not try to be funny with me. Yindianos, you know what they can be like. No racism or stereotyping here but experience tells alot. Can't sue me here!

On Sun, we went to my auntie's place and played Poker. I lost $20 and Amriq, being a bit lost in the game managed to win $30. I am darn sure my $20 went there. He kept winning a few times and big stakes too. (ok la not so big considering the fact that the max bet was $1) and I TAUGHT HIM HOW TO PLAY so I think rightfully half should come to me!
P.s: Siraj (amriq's cousin) owes me 6 bucks.

quirky news : My co just sent an email abt a new clause of somesort regarding blogging that my wonderful co's name should not be mentioned in it and we are not supposed to blog abt work activites.

Well, I think (a) no one will be that dumb to mention where they work (b) how can you restrict what one blogs about so long as it doesn't violate the govt, the reputation of a company or a person, racism or promote any sort of disharmony in the country or well, anything tht a normal person wouldn't talk about. There was one article in Australia, I think, or was it UK, where a woman was fired for blogging about her company but then again she stated the name (bimbo).

I haven't said anything...
